Highly active bauxite, also known as red powder or lightly burnt powder, is mainly composed of alumina, which is an earthy mineral containing impurities of hydrated alumina. It is white or off-white, brownish yellow or light red due to iron content. Density 3.45g/cm, hardness 1-3, opaque, brittle. It is extremely difficult to melt.
Product use.
It is the raw material of water purifier polyaluminium chloride, which is the mineral powder material produced from bauxite ore after calcination and processing, insoluble in water, soluble in hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide solution.
Other industries (1) Aluminum refining industry: used in national defense, aviation, automobile, electrical appliances, chemical industry, daily necessities, etc. (2) Precision casting: Bauxite clinker is processed into fine powder and made into casting moulds and then pacified. Used in military, aerospace, communication, instrumentation, machinery and medical equipment sectors. (3) Refractory products: High bauxite clinker has refractoriness up to 1780℃, chemical stability and good physical properties.

(4) Aluminosilicate refractory fiber: light weight, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small heat capacity and resistance to mechanical vibration and other advantages for steel, non-ferrous metallurgy, electronics, petroleum, chemical, aerospace, atomic energy, national defense and other industries. It is high alumina clinker into the melting temperature of about 2000-2200 ℃ high temperature electric arc furnace, by high temperature melting, high pressure high-speed air or steam blowing, cooling, it becomes a white "cotton" --- aluminum silicate refractory fiber. It can be pressed into fiber blankets, plates or woven into cloth instead of smelting, chemical, glass and other industrial high-temperature furnace lining refractory bricks. Firefighters can use refractory fiber cloth made of clothing.
