Aluminate cement

Aluminate cement is a high-alumina, fast-setting, early-strength hydraulic cementitious material with refractory properties, produced by finely grinding and high-temperature calcining in a rotary kiln using high-quality natural bauxite and limestone as raw materials.

Product Description

Aluminate cement is a high-alumina, fast-setting, early-strength hydraulic cementitious material produced by high-temperature calcination in a rotary kiln followed by fine grinding, using high-quality natural bauxite and limestone as raw materials. It exhibits excellent refractory properties. Aluminate cement can be used to formulate unshaped refractory materials, expansive cements, self-stressing cements, and chemical building materials such as ice-additive admixtures. For projects requiring rapid repairs, emergency construction, resistance to sulfuric acid corrosion, and winter construction, aluminate cement is an irreplaceable material that cannot be substituted by silicate cement. Aluminate cement is widely employed in industries including metallurgy, building materials, machinery, petroleum, and chemical engineering.

Main chemical components % (tested according to GB205-2000): The chemical composition of aluminous cement, expressed as a percentage by mass of the cement, shall meet the following requirements:

Precautions:

1. During construction, this material must not be mixed with silicate cement, lime, or other similar substances. Before use, the mixing equipment must be thoroughly cleaned, and the mixing water must be pure drinking water.

2. Aluminate cement is not suitable for pouring large-area concrete, and the curing temperature must not exceed 50°C.

3. Not to be used in applications involving contact with alkaline solutions.

4. During transportation and storage, prevent moisture exposure and avoid getting wet in the rain.

5. The shelf life of aluminous cement is two months from the date of packaging.

6. When used in reinforced concrete, the thickness of the concrete cover for reinforcement bars shall not be less than 60 mm.

7. Other matters shall be handled in accordance with the requirements of GB 201-2000 standard.
