Calcium aluminate powder is an off-white powder. The main component is a mixture of calcium dialuminate (CaO-2A1203) and calcium aluminate (CaO-A1203). Slightly soluble in water, aqueous solution is alkaline, PH value of about 11. Calcium aluminate powder and inorganic strong acid reaction activity is very high, at room temperature can start to occur.
