35 enterprises from Kaili City join forces to embark on a journey toward "high-value, efficient mining."

Around the bauxite resources, the Lubiji Economic Development Zone has attracted 13 enterprises from the upstream and downstream aluminum processing industry chain, including Qiyagui Zhou Group, Yamato Abrasives, and Xintai Melting Materials. “We have a total of three projects aimed at improving the utilization rate of bauxite. Currently, the first-phase projects—comprising mother liquor purification and comprehensive resource utilization of red mud, as well as gallium extraction—have been completed and put into operation. We are also implementing a low-grade ore washing and sorting project with a total investment of 300 million yuan. The first phase of this project is scheduled for completion in June and will enable an annual output of 600,000 tons of bauxite,” said Pan Fuyan, Director of the Office of Guizhou Qiya Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. She added that the implementation of these three projects will help conserve energy, enhance efficiency, improve the overall production system’s circularity, and fully extract and maximize the value of bauxite resources.

Comrade Yang Zongwei and his delegation visited KaiLi Xintai Melting Materials Co., Ltd. and KaiLi Xinmingkai Water Purification Technology Co., Ltd. to inspect on-site the construction of environmental protection facilities and project implementation. At the site, they carefully examined the construction of the temporary storage room for hazardous waste at Xintai Melting Materials. The onsite supervisor explained that the newly built temporary storage room for hazardous waste has been constructed strictly in accordance with the latest standards and requirements, including laying impermeable membranes, building drainage channels and collection wells, and installing new signage.
