Comrade Yang Zongwei and his delegation visited KaiLi Xintai Melting Materials Co., Ltd. and KaiLi Xinmingkai Water Purification Technology Co., Ltd. to inspect on-site the construction of environmental protection facilities and project implementation. At the site, they carefully examined the construction of the temporary storage room for hazardous waste at Xintai Melting Materials. The onsite supervisor explained that the newly built temporary storage room for hazardous waste has been constructed strictly in accordance with the latest standards and requirements, including laying impermeable membranes, building drainage channels and collection wells, and installing new signage. Meanwhile, Comrade Yang Zongwei also inspected the Phase III construction project of KaiLi Xinmingkai Water Purification Technology Co., Ltd. on-site and emphasized that enterprises must pay close attention to the construction of environmental protection facilities, ensure timely online monitoring and networking of exhaust gas emissions, and properly carry out the completion acceptance of environmental protection measures. Enterprises must earnestly strengthen environmental protection management and safe production practices. The enterprise’s responsible persons must implement effective safety protection measures at construction sites, ensuring that construction is carried out in compliance with regulations and under safe conditions. They should also provide regular safety education, conduct periodic inspections of environmental protection facilities, promptly address any potential environmental safety hazards, and ensure that both safety production responsibilities and environmental protection responsibilities are fully implemented.

Comrade Yang Zongwei and his delegation first visited Kaili Shengyun Environmental Protection Power Co., Ltd. They focused on inspecting the central control room for waste-to-energy incineration, gaining an understanding of the current operational status, and checking the operation of the company’s environmental protection facilities as well as the temporary storage area for hazardous waste, the online monitoring system, the wastewater treatment plant, and the progress made in addressing cross-provincial feedback issues. Comrade Yang Zongwei emphasized that the company must earnestly carry out the rectification of identified problems, conduct regular inspections of its environmental protection facilities, and promptly identify and eliminate all potential environmental safety hazards.
